The Alpert Group developed its first affordable housing property under the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s 221(d)3 Project Based Section 8 Program in the early 1970’s. Over the ensuing years, The Alpert Group established a long and successful track record developing, owning, and managing affordable and market-rate rental housing for young professionals, families, senior citizens, and persons with special needs. Since its founding, the company has developed over 3,500 units of housing in New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut. The Alpert Group is also an experienced property manager and tax credit compliance specialist and currently owns and manages a portfolio of over 2,500 housing units.
