Terrell Homes Senior Housing is a brand new  69-unit, 100% affordable, senior housing community for seniors 55 years and over.

Working with The Newark Housing Authority, this is the 1st phase of redevelopment of the Terrell Homes public housing site in order to achieve its vision of creating a neighborhood that is transformative to the residents and supports the on-going revitalization of the City of Newark’s Ironbound neighborhood.

Applications MUST be received by mail no later than Friday, May 9, 2025. Incomplete applications will not be processed. A random selection process to determine the priority order of the applications will be held and applicants will be notified of their status.

There is a preference for prior Terrell Homes residents.
